State program sees Russia’s agricultural exports at $21.4 bln in 2020

MOSCOW, Oct 31 (PRIME) – An adjusted state agriculture program expects exports to rise to U.S. $21.4 billion in 2020 from of $16.215 billion in 2015, the year taken as the basis, as seen by PRIME in materials of the government’s Web site for disclosure of legal data on Tuesday.

The new program expects exports to rise by 17% in 2018, by 24% in 2019, and by 32% in 2020 to $21.4 billion.

The amended program also encompasses an increase of state financing to 241.273 billion rubles from 197.958 billion rubles in 2018, to 242.218 billion rubles from 194.056 billion rubles in 2019, and to 242.224 billion rubles from 194.06 billion rubles in 2020.

But the 2018–2020 budget sees agricultural financing at 222.273 billion rubles in 2018, at 222.218 billion rubles in 2019, and as 222.224 billion rubles in 2020.

In 2017, the state financing of agriculture was initially defined at 215.852 billion rubles, but later it was expanded to about 242 billion rubles.
